A Green Winter

Summers are gone and so are the bright and fun colours we used to play with. While I agree winters give way to a lot more deeper and neutral shades, I know that I need to have fun in the cold weather too. So, today I thought of sharing a fun yet chic brunch fall look with you guys.

I have always had a thing of mixing few different pieces and working them; be it a traditional attire or western. Come winters and it becomes even more important to play around with different pieces and put them together in a look since the same knits and jackets with your denims or leggings could get boring. Right?

The good thing about the current weather is we could experiment more with our looks since a single layer of warm clothing is just about enough; especially in the day.

I decided to do a color blocked outfit as you could tell from the pictures. I never go sleeveless in winters but since it was for a sunny day outing, I could totally afford them.

I picked up a green a-line dress and pitted it against a pair of scarlet yellow shoes. Green and yellow are as bright and fun together as much as they are different. I paired my dress with a black tunic sweater. I am pretty much over done pairing my sweaters with dresses all fall but this time I picked up a sweater tunic as it looks pretty chic. To add some definition, I clinched my waist with a broad belt.

Keeping other things minimal, I just opted for my go-to black LennonĀ glasses and quilted bag to give the perfect finishing touches.
