Golden Globes – Top 10 Best Dressed Women

Here are my top ten picks from the recently help Golden Globe awards in United States.

  1. Emma Stone in Valentino                                                                                                                                                     Emma looked ethereal in a blush pink Valentino gown; she wore a diamond necklace and soft up-do for the finishing touches.
  2. Brie Larson in Rodarte                                                                                                                                                             A very safe outfit and colour but there’s no denying that she looked quite graceful; loved the vintage curls.
  3. Naomi Harris in Armani                                                                                                                                                         Naomi looked like a complete star in this metallic number by Armani; super confident and glamorous!
  4. Reese Witherspoon in Versace                                                                                                                                                While lot of people chose neutral shades for the awards, yellow was one of the bright colours spotted! Ms. Witherspoon never disappoints on red carpet and fabulous did she look again in this yellow strapless Versace gown.
  5. Van Rachel Wood in Altuzarra                                                                                                                                               Van Rachel Wood wore a custom made tuxedo to the awards and took everyone by surprise. Well, kudos to her for trying out something so different and nailing it too.
  6. Priyanka Chopra in Ralph Lauren                                                                                                                                      Priyanka Chopra has given us a million reasons to be proud last year and here, she was at it again as a presenter at the Golden Globes. This gold gown has embroidery done with hand all over it and while I do think she had some fit issues with the gown, but there’s absolutely no doubt about her elan and confidence on the red carpet.
  7. Naomi Campbell in Versace                                                                                                                                                     Naomi Campbell wore a glamorous structured lilac gown by Versace and stayed away from any accessories. She had me at the styling by keeping just the outfit in focus.
  8. Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton                                                                                                                                        Giving the voluminous gowns a miss was Michelle Williams in a off-shoulder dress by Louis Vuitton which she wore with an up do and a black choker. The style has been done a million times last year but carrying it with so much elan on a red carpet was definitely commendable.
  9.  Lily Collins in Zuhair Murad                                                                                                                                                 Lily Collins had her princess-y moment in the beautiful lace gown by Zuhair Murad. I loved the up do and must add that the red lips were a great choice too.
  10. Deepika Padukone in Ralph Lauren                                                                                                                                    Well, this post shouldn’t be a surprise to many of you who know I’m a die hard DP fan. Although, she did not present at the award ceremony, she did attend the after party in this cherry bright number. She made it to my list because she chose this rather simple yellow gown by Ralph Lauren and still looked so so stunning it it. Love the hairstyle and those pearl drop earrings; DP won it by her rather simple yet striking style.
