One Last Time #Goodbye2017

So 2017 went by in a blink and I’m still deciphering how it was for me personally. Honestly, you would never hear me saying that X year was the best and Z was the worst because every year is a mix bag and I like that it eventually balances every thing out. What matters is what you learnt and what you are taking away from it.

However, I do like recalling and sometimes, even penning down the good things that happened in the past year and taking them with me for a good start in the new year. I’m also very grateful for all the blogs that I posted, the travels and the love I got from everybody around me and here’s hoping 2018 has a lot more in store.

Now let’s talk a little about the outfit, shall we?

I wanted to obviously go a little glam and chic but staying away from any sort of bling which I usually tend to fall back on year after year.

More than the colour black, I reckon red has more of a style statement power and it would look great on everyone and in every occasion. So no surprises at all when I picked a red jumpsuit to be my #ootd for new years eve. A top to toe red look has always been on my wish list but I know how difficult it could be to pull it off without making one look overwhelming. Hence, I decided to introduce a little blush hue to my all red outfit by throwing my faux fur coat over.

I have done red and black so many times that I needed a change and I was ecstatic to see how the blush hue looked against all that red. Faux fur coats are quite a rage this A/W season and though I was never too drawn towards them, I fell for this blush piece from However, there’s a minor problem with the coat which is the fur falling at times but I reckon that it with most of the furry outfits like these. Zara also has some very cozy fur coats if you want to check them out.

For the finishing touches, I wore these gold LOVE earrings from stylefiesta and put my hair in a pony to let my coat take all the attention. The geometrical colour-blocked clutch which is a 5 year old purchase and red shoes completed my look perfectly.

Jumpsuit: Mango (Buy similar here & here) | Coat: SheIn (Buy here) | Earrings: Stylefiesta (Buy here) | Shoes: Metro (Old) | Clutch: Shopnineteen (Veryyyy old)

Tell me what you thought about the look here in the comments section. Also, tell me what you doing on New Year’s eve. As for me, I’m going to be inside my favourite blanket catching a few good movies on Netflix because nothing makes me happier (LOL).

Until next time,

Stay stylish, stay fabulous,

Reitu ♥
