How many times do we want to look smashing yet not compromise on our comfort? Well, particularly for those times, I always keep my shift dresses right beside me (grin).
A shift dress does not have a defined shape to it and is generally straight and loose. Although I always used to find it difficult to pull off a shift dress, I realised that it is all about finding the right length according to your body type. Since these dresses are not body-hugging, you can safely say good-bye to your tummy problems (wink).
I tried creating two different looks with my shift dress from Vero Moda! The idea was to create both a sassy and casual look. I added black block heels from Zaraand a black and white over-sized clutch from Venus Steps for the first look. Open hair along with a pair of reflector glasses from Idee completed my look.
To change things up, I swapped my heels with a pair of black sneakers so as to give the outfit a more relaxed and casual touch. Instead of the clutch, I opted for a blue sling from Forever New. You may wear this look during the daytime for your shoping or brunch activities and then quickly change your shoes and/or accessories to be ready for the night outing.
So, you saw how easy and versatile it is to style shift dresses; and how easy it is to carry the same shift dress throughout the day. Tell me how would you style yours so that I can try them too.
Waiting to hear your thoughts on this post.
Until the next post,
Stay Stylish, Stay Fabulous!
