Strolling through the Streets of Vasco

Few days back, I was in Goa to attend a very close friend’s wedding and it was then that I got to see Vasco for the first time. I have been to Goa a couple of times before but those visits (as anticipated) were limited to beaches alone. So I took out some time strolling through the old and beautiful streets of Vasco this time and while I was at it, I also shot this look for the blog. Hope you all like it 🙂

On a hot and humid day or just another day of summer, denims are not my favourite piece of clothing. I like wearing more relaxed silhouettes like a pair of culottes or a shift dress and hence, I chose a relaxed day dress for this outing too.

I love dresses with an abstract print or pattern and chevron is one of my favourites among them. I was  instantly drawn to this particular dress from Fancy Pants the Store with chevron pattern and bell sleeves. The pattern and colour were so fresh and perfect for my day strolls like this one.

I wanted to keep the look fuss free and still charming and so, I decided to let go of jewellery and opt for comfort and style. I picked up this platform shoes to go with the dress as they didn’t only pair well with the dress but also were so utterly nice to my feet during my street hopping. In the past, I have made so many bad decisions picking up the wrong shoes for my outings which has now led me to give preference to comfort over style. Flatforms / platforms are slowly becoming a favourite too.

I finished out my look with a fedora hat (Goa and no hat doesn’t mean joy to migraine patients like me) and my Lenon glasses by Quay.

Until next time,

Stay stylish, Stay fabulous,
