I love floral. I mean I really adore them and today, I’m transitioning my summer floral closet to the winter land. So, let’s just quickly get into the blog post.
When you talk florals in winter, you assume it to be dark and not the classic and cutesy white or bright ones. Not that, I’m against dark floral but I’m a tad more excited about the bright ones. So, I thought of putting up a bright winter floral look together for you guys.
I have a lot of floral pieces in my wardrobe but there was this pencil skirt lying for months, literally crying out loud to be worn someday. Now, I love pencil skirts because they look so classy and also make you gain a few inches. (not kidding). Pencil skirts are a wardrobe essential and I reckon you should own them in as many colours, patterns and prints as you could. They make up for a stunning formal look and could even look great on a dinner night or the dance floor. The best part is you can style them in so many different ways and make it look like a new outfit every time.
Coming back to the look, I wanted to keep thinks on a brighter side and so, picked up a lavender pinkish cowl neck half-sleeve sweater to go with the skirt. This half-sleeve sweater could again be worn in so many different and unique styles and can act as a good layer over your snug sweaters when the temperatures drop further. For this time of November, this was just about fine!
I added a dash of colour yet again via my fuchsia lips and opted for neutral accessories to finish out the look. Side swept hair made my over-sized white studs pop out beautifully. A tan bag and beige shoes completed my winter floral look.
What do you guys think about this look? Do you miss summer already or are you gearing up for a cozy and chilly winter season? Tell me all in the comments section below.
P.S. I just realised that apart from the earrings & sunglasses, I’m wearing Koovs head to toe in this look (something old & something new but still Koovs) and it was purely coincidental. 🙂
Until next time,
Stay stylish, stay fabulous,
